This wine is a wonderful example of how well a great wine from a great year can last. Purple in color. Dark berries and earthy, minerally notes on the nose. Still solid notes of jammy, concentrated black fruits on the palate with a backbone of cedar and cinnamon. Smooth, well developed tannins still present.
