Succulent, lovely early drinking claret.
Peppery red fruit nose tinged with a hint of liquorice followed by faintly toasted cedar, earth and spice. The palate is still on the lighter side with generous ripe blackcurrant and mulberry flavours over toasty cedar, earth and spice nuances. Dryish finish with a sturdy tannin structure providing some grip. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, toasty cedar, earth and spice. A top example of entry level Bordeaux that delivers fantastic value.
